‘Too Much, Enough’ comes from Brooklyn-based band Nation Of Language. The unpredictable trio have honed in on a recognisable sound that blends synth-focused arrangements and quirky structures into something groovy and bouncy, while simultaneously providing sinister undertones that match the track’s lyrics which touch on everything from devotion to anxiety-inducing TV news cycles. The track is accompanied by a unique video made by Robert Kolodny, which stars Jimmi Simpson, in a surreal, satire of the type of outrageous TV broadcasts that inspired the song. ‘Too Much, Enough’ is taken from the band’s new album, Strange Disciple, which drops on September 15th, 2023. -Dan Peeke
